High school level of knowledge. Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant or EMT program. One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable. Works effectively with others, possess tact, discretion and diplomacy. Ability to work under stress and complete duties sometimes with numerous interruptions. Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co- workers. Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients and take vital signs.. Ability to understand printed health related material. Proficiencies demonstrated in hospital specific competencies for phlebotomy and EKG may be required during the orientation period. BLS certification required. EOE
